Description:
This course covers the material for Senior D and E classes. It is specially designed to prepare students for B1 level examinations. It is innovative in that even though two levels are taught together, the course is thoughtfully structured, and the material is well presented and easily understandable.
Recommended teaching time: 75-90 minutes three times a week (four and a half to five and a half teaching hours)

I like English B1 Coursebook
Consists of 47 lessons (2 Intros + 36 Lessons + 9 Revision Lessons) with interesting texts that are accompanied by relevant vocabulary and a variety of exercises. At the back of the book, there are Reading Comprehension Questions, Listening Exercises, Speaking Exercises, an Appendix with a Word List of taught vocabulary in alphabetical order, Phrases used in the lessons, a list of Irregular Verbs and Sample Answers for Warm-Up Questions.
I like Grammar B1
This book is for level B1 and teaches both grammar and vocabulary. It consists of 47 lessons (2 Remember Lessons + 36 Lessons + 9 Revision Lessons), which include grammar theory, vocabulary and a wide range of exercises. At the back of the book, there is a Glossary, a table of Verbs & Tenses and a list of Irregular Verbs.
I like Writing B1
Consists of 18 Writing Projects, each with a model answer, exercises and a Writing Task. At the beginning of the book, there are Writing Guidelines and tables of Linking Words. At the back of the book, there is a Glossary and list of Irregular Verbs.
I like English B1 i-book
It is a specially designed DVD-ROM. For each of the 36 lessons, it includes:
- the taught vocabulary with pronunciation and translations
- the audio and video of the Reading
- extra vocabulary and grammar exercises (different to those in the book)
The i-book also includes:
- a vocabulary list with all the vocabulary and phrases
- a list of irregular verbs with pronunciation and translations
Each lesson is corrected and evaluated automatically, and the teacher is informed about each student’s performance by email or with a printout of their score. The i-book is also available as an application for smartphones or tablets.
